All aerials: I’m no longer getting one or more channels, that I used to receive before. (Freeview retune dates)

Due to Ofcom's decision to reallocate some frequencies currently used for DTT to mobile phone services, Freeview transmissions found in the 700MHz ultra high frequency (UHF) band will be moved.
This process, known as the 700MHZ Clearance Programme, will roll out across the UK starting from Q3 2017, and will be completed in 2020.

Why do I need to retune my Freeview box?

Changes are constantly being made to improve Freeview for the better and this means upgrades.
With these upgrades comes a change of technology and a change in the frequencies that Freeview uses.
Therefore it is essential that you retune your Freeview box when prompted to keep watching your favourite channels.
If you were to ignore the retuning dates then you would struggle or not be able to receive the transmissions to your Freeview box.
